An interesting companion (and free!) CD to Hanging Out in Heaven, this artefact captures the live MWP in typically upbeat mode. No real surprises from the set-list but storming versions of St Germain, Melody of the Rain, 10,000 Miles and You Whisper to name a few. Not one to test your new hi-fi with, but what's lacking in sound quality is more than made up for in performance. Essential. |

Although sonically impaired "Live At The Fine Line Cafe" (which was available as a mail away CD for fans who purchased "Hanging Out in Heaven") features Marty Wilson-Piper giving a terrific live performance. Unfortunately, it was recorded to cassette but the performance overcomes the weakness of the source itself. |
